Daniel Hensby	3b9056fc01	NEW Cookie_Backend for managing cookie state I've decoupled `Cookie` from the actual act of setting and getting cookies. Currently there are a few limitations to how Cookie works that this change mitigates: 0. `Cookie` currently changes the super global `$_COOKIE` when setting to make the state of an application a bit more managable, but this is bad because we shouldn't be modifying super globals 0. One can't actually change the `$cookie_class` once the `Cookie::$inst` has been instantiated 0. One can't test cookies as there is no class that holds the state of the cookies (it's just held in the super global which is reset as part of `Director::test()` 0. One can't tell the origin of a cookie (eg: did the application set it and it needs to be sent, or did we receive it from the browser?) 0. `time()` was used, so testing was made difficult 0. There was no way to get all the cookies at once (without accessing the super global) Todos are on the phpdoc and I'd like to write some tests for the backend as well as update the docs (if there are any) around cookies. DOCS Adding `Cookie` docs Explains basic usage of `Cookie` as well as how the `Cookie_Backend` controls the setting and getting of cookies and manages state of sent vs received cookies Fixing `Cookie` usage `Cookie` is being used inconsistently with the API throughout framework. Either by not using `force_expiry` to expire cookies or setting them to null and then expiring them (which is redundant). Sean Harvey	2b316e79e5	NEW Provide a consistent way of triggering flush Provides an interface for classes to implement their own flush() functionality. This function gets called early in a request on all implementations of Flushable when flush=1\|all is requested in the URL. This fix came out of an issue where Requirements combined files were not being cleaned up after dev/build?flush=1, due to the fact that flush would only occur when you called it while on a page that used those combined files, but not in any other contexts. According to w3.org: "Some URIs refer to a location within a resource. This kind of URI ends with "#" followed by an anchor identifier (called the fragment identifier)." - http://www.w3.org/TR/html401/intro/intro.html#fragment-uri After doing some research in the most common used name for the #some-link identifier I came to the conclusion that most of the time (about 70% on StackOverflow/BlogArticles/Interwebz) Anchor-link was the term used to describe the identifier. Damian Mooyman	d16db2d4f4	API tinymce editor no longer transforms paragraphs with margin-left into blockquotes This is legacy behaviour which does not often reflect the expected behaviour of the current editor. indent and outdent can (in some situations) prefer to use margin instead of padding. sapphiremce_cleanup faultily assumes that such indented text should be block quoted, and replaces this with a block quote element. This is not necessary, since the blockquote element can be placed explicitly by the user when necessary. To replicate the incorrect indentation behaviour, configure tinymce to use the 'lists' plugin (via admin/_config.php) and attempt to indent some text. Fred Condo	b88a0955a5	API: Support string descriptors for unique indexes in Versioned - Document the format for descriptor arrays - Implement the behaviour that developers have come to expect for string descriptors of indexes - Add test for handling of unique indexes (MySQL & sqlite3) - Resolve #2403 Versioned needs to convert unique indexes to non-unique for its suffixed tables, such as Foo_Live and Foo_versions. Because DataObject accepts string descriptors such as array('UniqIDX' => 'unique (Uniq)') as well as array-based descriptors, Versioned needs to recognize string descriptors. This patch accomplishes that. Since Transifex doesn't allow arbitrary JavaScript structures, we're using an intermediary JSON format which gets transformed into the JS used by the framework. See `b59f3858af` for generator logic. madmatt	951152e1c6	Update datamodel.md to use an array argument to Enum instead of the more error-prone string The previous argument to the Enum was: "Status" => "Enum('Active, Injured, Retired')" This would cause issues where the 'Injured' and 'Retired' statuses would actually be stored in the database as ' Injured' and ' Retired' respectively, at least in 3.0. Getlocalization started including those at some point which is highly annoying, unnecessary and breaks the new transfix system, since it'll mark all of the english strings as actual translations - Avoid dots in entities. It confuses the Transifex YML parser - Removed some locales unknown to Transifex which didn't have any translations anyway - Removed "lolcat" locale, uses custom notation (en@lolcal) which SilverStripe's i18n system can't handle (needs mapping from SS naming to Zend naming) - Renamed "Te Reo/Maori" locale from "mi_NZ" to "mi" (Transifex/CLDR notation) - Namespaced all entities used in templates (deprecated usage) - Converted dots to underscores where template filenames are used for namespaces, since Transifex YML parsing handles them as separate YML keys otherwise - Removed whitespace in entity names, SilverStripe i18n can't handle it - Only allow selection of locales registered through i18n::$all_locales to avoid issues with unknown locales in Zend's CLDR database	2013-08-07 00:25:16 +02:00

Christian Lohmaier	26ed69508a	fix nginx documentation to one that actually works :-) example configuration wuldn't allow to install silverstripe, as install.php does exist as a regular file (and that was ignored in the old version of the documentation) Similarily, the last rule in the htaccess snippet that should allow the access to the tinymce php files were never applied, as a previously listed regex did match and denied access. Even if it would have taken effect: as those files do exist on disk, they would have been handed out as-is and not been interpreted by php. Also the statement regarding accidental/exploitable execution of arbitrary php was misleading (and to some degree even wrong) in the old context. squashed commit as per pr#1791	2013-04-23 12:37:25 +02:00

Sam Minnee	eb583c5f14	NEW: Added DataObject::getQueriedDatabaseFields() as faster alternative to toMap() API: CompositeDBField::setValue() may be passed an object as its second argument, in addition to array. These changes provide a 15% - 20% performance improvement, and as such justify an small API change in the 3.0 branch. Its just not practical to use the Config API as it stands, the add_extension() wrapper does more than just a Config->update(). Ingo Schommer	828ac7fe4f	API Replaced SSViewer.custom_theme with SSViewer.theme_enabled Since we can't influence the setting of configuration values, we also can't set/unset the 'custom_theme' value based on which theme is set. This means the 'custom_theme' value goes stale, and we can't rely on it e.g. in FilesystemPublisher. The 'theme_enabled' toggle is a cleaner solution to the same problem, since the 'custom_theme' was really just a way to remember the original theme, while still disabling it.
